"It's not that hard to understand," she said, with a sigh. "And no, I don't think I am. I thought I could wait, that I could give you the time you need, but in the mean time we're here, living together, having sex, with the possibility of never getting married, and I can't do that. It doesn't feel right."
Savannah nodded. "I have. I'm sorry, but as much as I can't push you into marrying me; I can't compromise what I believe in, because this will never be right." She sighed. "I wish I had a solution. I wish we were at home and you could have that time, but we're not and there is nothing I can do."
