Returning her smile, he nodded. "I know it's important to you, Savannah. I don't have to agree to see that. But, perhaps, I might ask you to consider one other thing before you make your decision?" He hadn't intended to bring it up, but as she was talking about licenses he wasn't sure they could obtain without compromising security and putting each other at risk, he would risk it. "When the top brass was here, the two of you gave no indication of being together. Why was that? Don't tell me, just think about it. You're the only one who can know what compromises you can live with. But, an impossible situation may require some compromises. I'm not asking you to make them and I'll be here for you no matter what you choose. But, don't be too hasty in making the choice if there's a chance you'll live to regret it, alright?"
There wasn't anything else he could do, unless he took it upon himself to get involved and speak with Deeks. But, this wasn't an issue he could solve for them. They had to get past this together for it to mean anything.
