Parker smiled, she did that a lot too. She made a note not to try so hard with Neal, leaving that for the other agents she had to deal with rather than him. Neal and John seemed to be the two people here who were the easiest to talk to John because he did not look at her as if she were completely insane when she spoke and Neal because he understood without her saying anything.
"I don't either." She'd never been good with people, particularly people like Abby had been, at least according to what she had heard. She would never understand that.
Parker gave Neal a very pointed look and rolled her eyes when Neal warned her against stealing his bottle of wine. First was the question of whether or not she even liked wine, and then second that if she couldn't trust Neal here then there really was no one else she could trust. And she'd trust a fellow thief over almost anyone else here any day.
"You could just not drink it." She pointed out of Neal's palate - perhaps it wouldn't work with the food, you had to eat after all, but no one needed to drink, except maybe Nate, but he walked that fine line most of the time and she doubted most people could handle that. "Do you use it much, in what you do?"
