"I know that," she assured him. "I'm not saying that being a doctor will never help, but unless someone gets hurt or sick, you won't need those skills. I became a doctor partly to help people, and if I can't use those skills I want to use other ways to help," she explained. "My skills didn't help Abby," she added. "I treated her like a patient and it didn't help her at all, and before you say anything, I know this wasn't my fault, I know I couldn't have stopped her or helped her but that's my entire point. I'm not enough, my skills aren't enough, and since I still want to help people I need to find other, more immediate, ways of doing it."
"Thank you for your advice though, and I will train harder on the securities, and talk to Morgan. I do want to get over this blockage, because hesitating could get someone killed and that's even worse than not being able to help."
