Re: Savannah and G
When Savannah didn't let go, G put his arm back, assuming she needed the continued contact. And, it was also easier. "I didn't either, not really. Someone I consider family considers her family. But, I had little contact with her even at home." Not like Eric, who'd made friends across a continent. And, not like Jethro.
Glancing down at her, G squeezed her shoulders again. "I know. Me, too, Savannah. Me, too." Though he'd found so much here, so much he'd never thought to find, he was still only half a man as long as he was here with no chance of ever finding out who he really was, where he came from, why he'd been so unwanted by his own family. Pressing his lips to the top of her head to cover his words, he added. "She wasn't the only one." He didn't know exactly who had been tasked with it. But, he could guess given what he knew of the people here now.
