Savannah didn't let go, happy to keep an arm around G's waist as they spoke. "I'm fine. Not exactly the funeral I would have arranged, but then I didn't know her well." The few times that they had spoken Abby had been strange or even condescending. Savannah had tried to avoid her after that, because she didn't want to fight with G about her.
"She was going to see how to get home," she said softly. Now that was something that concerned her. With no chance of getting married in this dimension, going home suddenly became important. "I want to go home," she said with a sigh, because she knew that G wouldn't give her any details about any possible progress anyway.
