She nodded. It was true, it was harder because she'd been a friend, but it was also because she thought she should feel more than she did. She felt guilty, because Abby hadn't meant more to her than she did. She liked her, cared about her, but it was obvious to her from the note, that she'd meant more to Abby than Abby had to her. "I wish I'd known her better," she said. "When she was still feeling like herself." Pehaps then she could have connected to her more.
She smiled a bit at the quesiton. "Close, their arms," she said. "Kids, well teenagers in love at odds with parents who were moving them away." She wondered if she was even capable of feeling that deeply for someone. Not even as a teenager had she had that dept of a crush on anyone. "Acetone and water," she added. "If you ever accidentally glue yourself to someone," she joked lamely. "Either alone is useless, but put together it desolves the glue easily."
