Re: Sean and Mike
"Sounding impressive is most of the battle," he replied with a grin. "Steampunk? Can't say I've heard any of it. It sounds like it could be interesting. I'm pretty biased against anything that's less than a century or two old. But if you were to find it here, I'll give it a listen." He thoughtfully considered the observation about the similarity in contemporary music between realities. "As interesting as new things are, I am relieved every time I find out how less different this reality is." It meant that specific knowledge he had was less likely to be irrelevant. Of course, he didn't know that he and Sean came from the same home reality.
"If you ever want additional suggestions, let me know," Savannah was good, but she didn't have two decades of secret operative training. "Please forgive this question, but who is Django Reinhardt?" He honestly had no idea. He had always thought of himself as fairly cultured, especially given his background. Of course, given his background, it wasn't surprising that there would be artists he had never heard of.
"Excellent. I'll talk to Savannah. This'll be fun." For some reason he thought back to his childhood. "I played drums in the high school band. Haven't touched them since, but I always found them fascinating." Of course he left out the part where he skipped high school band most of the time.
