Sam froze for a split second when she spoke up, and then he laughed, because there wasn't much else he could do. He still preferred to talk about missions and aftermath and people getting shot at. Those were familiar and normal, and he liked that predictability. Talking about G to other people was still new and strange.
"Yes, me and G, and if you tell me that I have to date, go out to dinner and a movie, or do other 'normal' stuff, I'll tell Savannah that you're not feeling well and need lots of hugs," he threatened her. "It's bad enough that I have Sean looking at me like I'm strange for not doing those things" He squeezed her arm gently. "You okay with this?"
