Re: Sam/Jenna
Jenna moved onto the floor without a fight, and let her dad hold her in a way they hadn't done since she was a kid - since she'd stopped allowing things like this because she was better than needing to be held by her dad. But right now, when everything just felt wrong Jenna couldn't find it in her to want to be anywhere but where she was now.
She nodded when he suggested some sort of compromise, something that would help her keep that line between family and work so she wasn't having to continually hold it up in her mind. "I can listen to him." It wasn't G she had the problem with, not really. She didn't have the history with him that she did with her dad and there weren't any expectations there.
Jenna leaned her head against his shoulder, just taking a minute to be there with her dad on the floor while she tried to sort through her feelings and what this all meant for them and how she could most past some of it. "I didn't know it was going to be like this." She said - speaking of the way it felt to want to go back, the way she didn't know how to handle any of this. She was so used to having at least some measure of control that she was unprepared for this.
