Savannah didn't think that any serious football would happen any time soon, but she nodded anyway. "Sure, but I guess it's all right if we don't. We need people happy, right. Just not with football. We'll find something else."
She chuckled. "I know. I don't think I could stop if I wanted to, which I don't." Maybe he did balance her out, or they'd be fighting like cats and dogs, or maybe like her and G.
"You're being horrible, now, and stop picking on Tim. He's a sweetheart. Savannah rolled her eyes. "You always have a justification, even if it sucks, right? Sam was playing better than you, and he's from Brooklyn, not stop arguing with me, and let's go take care of the barbecue, before someone ruins it." She took his hand, smiling at him. "Even if you can't play, I still love you."
