Re: Sam/Jenna
"I figured as much." Jenna smiled though listening to her dad talk about the woman for that moment.
She nodded when he assured her they could fix any blurring of the lines - she liked that too, knowing that he could fix any problems they were having, or at least try to fix them to the best of his ability. "I'll let you know."
When her dad got up from where he'd been sitting, crouched in front of her and put his hands on her cheeks Jenna wasn't sure what to think. Thanks had seemed like the right thing to do then because she knew this wasn't easy and she did see that he was making an effort for her, even if she was still having a hard time articulating what it was that she was having trouble with. Just further proof that she didn't know what she was doing here. She closed her eyes for just a moment though breathing in a slow breath and holding on to every bit of her control all the more tightly before she opened her eyes again. "How is it not hard? I know what I'm like, it's hard for me - why shouldn't it be hard for you too?"
She shook her head when he continued about Savannah. "That was his mistake wasn't it? He told her no." She could not believe they had to have a talk about tactics for dealing with hugging from some tiny cheerleader.
