Re: Sam/Jenna
"Actually, she is. She's a great operational manager. I don't know what we would have done without her on some occasions. She just doesn't have the authority here," he said, smiling. "It's bad that she's not around more often."
Sam nodded. "All right, I can understand that, but if it's ever an issue, or if the line between father and instructor becomes blurry, then you can talk to me and we can fix it."
The thanks for 'putting up' with her made him freeze. His child thought that he should be thanked for doing what any father should do. Sam got off the chair and crouched in front of her, cupping her cheeks. "You don't have to thank me, Jenna. I'm your dad, and being around you is never hard. Even when we argue, it's still not hard. I love you so much, and I'd do anything to make you happy, but until you figure out what makes you happy, I'll be here for you, helping you in this transition."
He chuckled. "However, I'm not sure I can do much about Savannah. Does G look like the hugging type? And yet, even he couldn't stop her. I find that it's easier to let her hug me, because the moment someone says no, she tries to do more."
