Sam laughed. "That's what we've been living with, baby girl. You were just like and arrived when the weather was already getting better. This year was cold, although not as much snow as you guys got last year." He remembered the phone calls from Tamira, talking about the snow, and mostly reminding him about school events for Sean. "Still, it must be nice after Afghanistan.
He still wasn't sure why things were so hard with her, when she'd always been the easy one, the child he could talk to without any problem, but now, it was much easier with Seam. Maybe because his son had always looked for the 'normal' family and this was as normal as it ever got with him.
"Jenna, love, he's part of the family whether we us a name or not. It's hard not to when we live together, eat together, have classes together. We practically do everything together." He sighed. "Okay, let's forget about him for now. Why are we having a hard time? Let's fix that, and maybe a name won't matter that much anymore."
