Re: Sam/Jenna
"Yeah we should." Jenna agreed, she liked the break - this was what leave was supposed to be like. Barbecues and cook outs with friends, laughing and tackling anyone for the ball while they played football, or at least made an attempt at it. "It's been too cold for too long." Jenna hadn't even been around for winter and all ready she was tired of this weather, she was ready for something warmer. Something like today.
She shook her head and sat down at the table, "No that's fine." If living with Savannah was good for nothing else, it had gotten her used this sort of sweet tea.
Jenna pursed her lips when her dad started talking, it took her just a moment to recall what he was talking about but when she did she understood. Part of her all ready knew, or knew enough to guess - it had been kind of obvious if you had the chance to look, she just ignored anything she saw, anything that leaned in that direction.
"Do we have to?" She asked after a moment. She was still figuring things out with her dad now she was going to have to figure in another person into the equation and it was hard enough as it was without complicating it further. "I don't need to know, I mean, I know enough - I just want to know how things work with us before worrying about someone else too." She was being vague on purpose, putting a name to it made it real, made it something she wasn't entirely ready to encounter yet.
