Re: Savannah/Marty
"Well not you personally, but your team," she said, pouting. It really wasn't fair, and she didn't know why G agreed to it. He should be having fun trying to stop Sam, bantering and groping all at the same time, not that she was thinking of that, but Brian kept mentioning how gay football was and how you could touch people in less than appropriate ways. That wasn't exactly the way Brian had put it.
"Cheaters," she repeated. "And quitters. It's football." Savannah looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Had it in me? How many times do I have to tell you? If cheering got any easier, it'd be called football. Besides, we had a bet with the volleyball team, and we played, so Lewis taught us the plays and stuff. Lewis was on the football team before he left because he refused to take kickbacks, and then joined the Hellcats. I've never told you about him, have I? He was dating Marti, but then she was too busy eying Dan."
She looked at him. "So did you hate it? I know you said you don't play team sports, how bad was it? I didn't hurt you too much, did I?" she teased.
