Email to EVERYONE Who: Everyone Where: emails When: April 20, 2011 Summary: Savannah does what she does best: organizes parties
As soon as Tim had mentioned Easter, football and barbecue, Savannah was already mentally planning things. It did help that they were covering physics and chemistry this week, and she was sure that G didn't really expect her to know this stuff. She could google the answers to his exam, but if there was a real emergency, they'd ask John or Eric. It was so much easier.
So instead of paying attention, she mentally organized the work and as soon as they had a break she typed an email. She figured that she could tell them, but G would take exception if she just took over the class. This way people had something to read while bored. She also made sure to tell Tim to check his emails.
Easter is coming, so for Sunday we're changing things around, and I'm sure there is some security lesson about unpredictability in that, but I'll leave that to G and Sam.
So, there is a Protestant service at 9:00 with Brother Joe and a Catholic Mass at 10:30 with Father Guy. I usually go to the service, but I thought that we might want to go together, so if you guys let me know which one you prefer, or if there are strong objections to either one. I've never been to a Catholic Mass but I'm willing to go if y'all want to go. Another option was to ask Brother Joe and Father Guy to do an ecumenical one at noon. I haven't asked, but Brother Joe is pretty nice and they have done ecumenical services in the past.
After that, we'll meet outside our homes. Thanks to no gates, our joined backyards will become a football field. There shall be playing and barbecue. Derek is getting the grills, and we're getting meat and stuff, however since no one wants to be stuck with all the work, everyone needs to bring something, so I'm handing out assignments:
Peter's household: side dishes (potatoes, string beans, salad, etc) Michael's household: dessert (there are great bakeries go crazy) Hetty and Director Vance: drinks (not tea, please. Beer and soda will be fine *g*).
The weather is supposed to be nice (or as nice as it gets here), but we'll be outside and it's been raining, so Neal, think sweats and jeans, not suits.
If you have questions, wait until G's done with this class, and let's pretend that we care about physics (I love you, too, G).
