Re: Sam/Sean
Sam snorted. "And you can question to your heart's content after we get somewhere safe and people aren't shooting at us, although I find that bullets end most questions."
He smiled. "And I'm telling you that even the people I talk to didn't see for a long time. Someone like Kensi, who's been part of the team for years doesn't know. G didn't even know. I can make sure that people don't find out; I just don't want to at the house, because we are very relaxed here," he finished with a smirk."
He was hearing words, but they didn't seem to make sense, and it took a moment to form a coherent reply. Or maybe he was afraid that Sean might really suggest this. "Outside of work? Like what? Can you imagine going to dinner? The last time we tried, we spent most of the time looking at exit points and trying not to say anything that anyone could hear, which is pretty much everything in our lives. We'd drive around and pick random hotels just so we could get a room and talk, and even then we'd truly make sure that it was random, paid cash, and checked for tails. Doing couple things is more stressful than work." He smiled. "Of course, I could get him flowers and see his face when he sees them."
Sam laughed. "Been doing it since we were partnered and he started it, so he can't say anything." He nodded. "Yes, he did. He's the only one who knew. Him and Hetty, but she knows everything, so it doesn't count." Sam shook his head. "He doesn't resent you. He had fair warning, and he can't say anything. He sprang Savannah on me," he added with a smile. "It's really fine, Sean. G is okay with it."
