Re: Sam/Jenna
Jenna looked up from the book she'd been reading when someone knocked on her door and she called for them to come in. She was just a little surprised to see her father there as he closed the door behind him. The corner of her mouth quirked up slightly when he mentioned redecorating. "What you don't think pink is my color?" She asked, teasing just slightly - the room really was so far from what she liked, but she hadn't really focused much on that - it was a place to sleep, a place to keep her clothes nothing more than that.
"I'd be surprised it if was." Her dad might be gay, but she really doubted he was the sort to concern himself with things like interior design. She sat up crossing her legs on the bed when he sat down, just a bit more at attention than she had been moments ago hearing he'd heard about her assignment.
"Okay." She said nodding. "So what's happening?" She'd started to grow tired of just the general training, missing that feeling of belonging to a team, not just an organization as a whole - like she missed her platoon, she missed feeling like she had a real place here, and hoped this team assignment would be the start of something for her here.
