After speaking with Callen and Burke the day before, Derek realized that he was spending too much time doing things their way, when he knew plenty of ways to help. Ways that would make other people uncomfortable, but it was what he did, so he spent the rest of the day to write three reports. In the morning, he read them again, edited and corrected them before sending them out.

I thought you might find these unsollicited reports useful. The profiles of our three guests are not as comprehensive as I would have liked, but I mostly observed them from afar, and had just a brief conversation with them. However, based on previous work, I believe to be reliable and accurate.
