Re: Brian/Nate
"You know, I was about to say no, but that gig comes with a couch, right?" Brian hummed. "Maybe, I should consider it. It'd make fucking a lot more comfortable. They're all ready on the couch."
Brian shook his head. "No, it's fine. I've got nothing to hide." He'd lived his life completely out, not caring what people said about him. "I'm someone there. I'm an icon in the gay community and have been for probably too long. New York is too anonymous. Look at your family, your name means something in the right circles, but move to a different borough and people won't even know who you are, because there's just too many people. Millions and millions, and there's just no way to be that known. I walk into my club and there's not a man who doesn't know who I am. I walk down Liberty Avenue, and people recognize my face. To top it all off, I do whatever the fuck I want there and no one complains, so why would I leave?"
He snorted. "You're that desperate that you'd fuck someone not good looking. Tsk, tsk, I must not have been a good teacher. Looks are extremely important."
