You remind me a bit of some of the girls I met when dad was stationed down in the South when I was younger though," Kensi didn't mention that she hadn't gotten on with the girls back then. They had been very friendly, all smiles, until she'd been approached by one of the football team for a date. Then the girls made it very clear that she was considered an outsider and didn't fit in - Whilst acting as nice as pie, of course.
Kensi didn't say anything for a moment when Savannah mentioned Marty, taking a sip of her drink instead. There was still a camaraderie between them but without working together, Kensi knew it would dwindle and that made her sadder than she liked to admit. "He was a good partner and despite his teasing, he got down to the job. We all know he's a good guy, he would never have been included in OSP if he wasn't... It was Marty that projected this image of chasing anything on two legs with a pulse."
