Re: Parker
She wasn't surprised to hear Neal had managed to put away enough that he could have gotten out of the game entirely after he'd finished his stint in prison. She was the same way - she'd had enough to retire for years now, not to mention the obscene amount of money they'd made from that first job as a team. But it wasn't about the money - well no it was always about the money for Parker, but it wasn't about just having the money, it was about getting the money. She might not get the money for herself as often anymore, but she was still a part of that sort of mind set, she didn't think she could have given that up as easily as Neal seemed to think he'd have been able to.
At least he seemed to have a decent head on his shoulders, he might work for the FBI but Neal wasn't as bad as she'd feared. "Your friend just caught you on a bad day then?" She asked, because that was a point of curiosity.
She supposed in the end it was no different than what they had done to Chaos. She didn't miss the way he talked about the people he worked with, the ones that still helped him now. "Do you like it?" It was a step up from what she did, even what she did now - and she was curious, not that she'd ever let herself get put into that sort of situation even if they got back. When they got back, she'd disappear there.
"No one does." Parker agreed, you didn't talk about these sorts of things to just anyone. Parker understood that, and Neal did too - she didn't say much about herself, but then she didn't have to, and Neal didn't ask the way everyone else tended to. It was nice, she decided knowing there was one person who got it.
