Re: Jenna and Dom
"Yeah, they aren't," he said, chuckling. "And really, no one flatters geeks, especially in high school. After that, no one can have an ego requiring flattering." He didn't mind or care about it. "I never hid what I was, though. I am what I am, and I like math, books and computers, and now I like guns and programs that let me catch the bad guys."
Dom shook his head. "No, I only mean what do you do for fun when you aren't being deployed. It's not a trick question or a suggestion or anything else. I know how hard life in the military can be, and I was wondering if there was something other than that you enjoyed."
He took another sip of the beer, wondering if he should just call it a night. She seemed to take everything as a personal attack, but then sighed. "Look, I know it's tough being a woman in the military, even harder in special forces, and the end of a deployment is never easy, but I'm not here to judge. You're a good looking woman, we'll work together, and I thought we could get to know each other, have some fun. My questions are just a way to achieve that, that's all."
He chuckled. "Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way, and I'm sure she's a nice girl, everyone seems to love her, it's just... not my type, and it's strange that she's with Deeks. The man would fuck anything in a skirt. Commitment meant booking a real hotel room as opposed to one by the hour. I'll never get over their relationship."
