Re: Jenna and Dom
Dom snorted. "Please, I worked with your father and Callen. I wouldn't have made it a week if I needed flattery, constant or otherwise, and I'm a self proclaimed geek. No one flatters those." He smiled at her. "However, I will take compliments form a beautiful woman."
He took a sip of his beer, before resting the bottle on his knee. "Afghanistan, that's... you must be used to fatigues then." He leaned closer. "We can put that under the list of things not to discuss if you want. It can't be easy if you just came back. So... what do you do besides being a kick ass Marine?" Dom knew that it was more than plenty and with her deployment, she hadn't done anything but work, but they could find something else to talk about, something that wouldn't bring her back to the desert.
"MarSOC, that's in the South, right? My father was stationed in South Carolina, Fort Jackson. It was another world there, not that Army posts aren't a different place anywhere. With all the army wives, no one was working back then, not that it's much better now, but you know what I mean." He chuckled. "I think that's where I developed an allergy to women like Savannah."
