Re: Eric and Parker
Parker nodded while he listed down all the things that were here - okay maybe the drinks weren't so bad, she liked drinks sometimes. After a job, when they were all down in McRory's together, with her and Hardison were sitting together eating pretzels. She could maybe like drinks then, but here now with all these people? She was not a fan of any of the things Eric listed off.
"That, what you said - all of those things." She said keeping him close, just in case, because unlike some of the others from their team who had come out the computer guy was just a computer guy, he wasn't a SEAL, or a Marine, or a Police Detective, or CIA, or any of those agencies that so many of these people came from. "They are all bad things."
It had been one thing up to this point to deal with the team one on one, or in smaller groups. And it was one thing when she was working to be in a large group. She could easily work a crowd when she needed to, but she never had to really talk to any of them. She played a waitress so often because no one wanted to talk to a waitress.
Here there were men who wanted to talk to her, wanted to know where she was from, what she did, they asked questions and she itched for her taser she wanted to punch them she wanted to jump out a window, but none of that was really an option. Maybe she should just start working the room, pick a few pockets, look at this like a job rather than a social event. She could work on those skills later. Archie would be so disappointed if she let her skills slip because she was one of the good guys now.
