Eric and Parker
Clubs were definitely not her sort of thing, Parker missed John McRory's Place - that was her style - if she really had a style. It was calm and quiet, unless there was a game on, and there was always a booth for them when they needed it. She like that place - the club here on the base? No, that was definitely not her style, and she didn't even need to have a style to know this was not her style.
Still the other computer guy - why did they need some many people who did computers anyway - had said people were going out. She could have stayed in, could have continued working on her newest rig, but in the end she gave up long lengths of rope and cords and knots to try and continue to work on her social skills. Things hadn't gone too badly with the people she'd talked to all ready. She could handle something more she decided.
Only when faced with loud music, and dancing and everything else that people seemed to do there Parker wasn't so sure she was ready to work on this set of social skills just yet. So she kept to herself, kept out of the way and watched, that is until her computer guy came round and she latched on to him because if another one of those soldiers came up to her and asked to dance or buy her a drink she was going to get punchy and that was not exactly the sort of behavior that one who tried to keep a low profile around military and law enforcement types generally let happen.
"You," She hissed taking his arm and pulling herself in close. "This is not fun, you said this place would be fun and people were going to have a good time and they would have fun and I would have fun and this is not that." She spoke quickly, leaning into him slightly.
