And she was right back to not knowing what else to say, in some ways it didn't really matter, but in so many ways it was a reordering of the way she'd viewed her entire life and everything she'd thought about her dad up to this point. Still a world where her father had to resign from the reserve just because of one small thing like that wasn't something she could actually picture.
She pursed her lips for a moment and shook her head. "Not really." She admitted, maybe she would at some point, but right now, on top of everything else they were having to deal with and take in - this was not something that she wanted to talk about. "You're not - You're not just going to become someone different now though right?" She could spend six months in Afghanistan, fight her way through years of training, and suddenly here she was feeling like a little kid again, just worried that this was going to change everything.
