His sister's teasing brought a brief grin to Sean's face, that faded again as Savannah went on about the mall and eating out. When he'd said not to worry about it, he'd meant he didn't need to go out with everyone. But, apparently Savannah had other plans.
He didn't want to deal with the domesticity between her and his dad, either. It had rankled to hear call his dad family. So, he went back to the table to retrieve his cup and refill the coffee. No need to watch how much he drank if he didn't have to worry about gumming up the reed. As Savannah sped off and left the three of them alone, he turned back to the counter and leaned against it, sipping at the mug.
Sean snorted when Jenna asked about the show, but grinned again. "Long enough to have a new manager, apparently."
