RP: Nell and Eric Who: Nell Jones and Eric Beale Where: Eric's new house When: Wednesday, March 23, 2011 - after work Summary:
Nell blamed being raised around Hartford society. They weren't the hoity-toity by any means, her family. But, with her mother's clients and her father's university colleagues, there were still certain forms and expectations, even just in the neighborhood. Birthdays and such.
Housewarming visits.
Nell herself wasn't Miss Socialite. But, she liked the little things like dropping by to leave a little something with friends in their new house...throwing a surprise birthday party for the new boss. And that was why she was walking up to the front door of Eric's new house with a basket of meats and cheeses after she got through at the office. There were three grown men living in the house and the new girl, Parker, didn't seem like the flowers and candy sort. So, this was a better idea than bouquets and chocolates. She'd delivered wine to the house Agent Burke, Neal, and April were sharing a couple nights earlier.
Knocking on the door, she smiled brightly when it was Eric that answered the door. "Hi! I promise not to take too long. I know you guys are just moving in and all today. But," she held up the basket that was almost as big as she was -- or just seemed like it -- and grinned, "Happy housewarming. It's not much. You guys should have something, though."
