RP: Marty and Savannah
Who: Marty Deeks and Savannah Monroe
Where: Their house, the basement
When: 22 March 2011
Summary: Marty decides it's time to do a little more practicing.
Marty liked routine, he liked having his set schedules and his set ways home at the end of the day and he liked knowing that things would go off like clock work when he was following a schedule. The only problem with that was since coming here schedules, at least the sort that he liked were becoming less and less something he could do - there were the constant interruptions that came from new arrivals, and reorganizing houses and teams, and whenever they got a new case thrown at them. To say nothing of the training that Sam had been giving them that sort of drove home the point that schedules could get you killed just as easily as any op gone wrong.
It was a process, getting used to things being different here, one that he was continually going through with each new day. And that evening after everything else they'd done Marty decided it was probably time to do a little more work before he let himself call it a day.
"Hey," He said catching Savannah's hand in his and pulling her into an easy embrace simply because he could - because it had been a long day and he liked having here there at the end of the day and he liked the way she felt against him and in his arms. "Think maybe you're up for a little work downstairs?" He asked her.
