"Do I have a choice?" she asked, and she managed to do it without the bitterness she had felt in the past. Things happened, they moved on, and now she had more important things to worry about, like her children and her husband.
"No, I know you weren't. It's just that I wasn't precise at first, because I didn't think it was important, but considering the little we've seen him do, and knowing how much he kept secret, I'm sure that it's more than important." She smiled. "You don't have to tell me to keep track. I figured that out already, which you got a more precise story."
She smirked. "I guess that it could be his power, but it could be something else. Someone once told me not to jump to conclusions. It could be connected to time instead." She was going to pay close attention now. "Do you know what sucks about this power? You can't really train. You have to wait until it happens and then pay attention. It's not like my other one when everything could be turned into training. I'll speak with John, though. Maybe he knows something that could make it easier." Savannah could imagine what he was thinking. "Arrivals were across country, and we have no planes. They'd be dead before we get to them, which could take months." There were casualties, hadn't he taught her that? They'd just have to leave with those.
