Re: Tommy/TJ
"I mean they were starting to sound like my parents deciding what my being gay meant to pretty much everything and everyone." TJ shrugged. "You're not fourteen and I...didn't like hearing it again with you as a target. It's not like you asked for this shit." The conversation before with Savannah hadn't helped, either. TJ realized now how much of his fourteen year old self had been in his arguments about being different.
He smiled as he took the offered beer. "Yeah, I'm not really there, yet. I like having that crutch as an option, still, even if I don't take it. That's why Doug has the stash right now. I can't trust myself and I can't afford to be high while Travis needs me right now. That's good, though. You're...better off than I am. I'm glad."
Snorting, he shook his head while cracking open the bottle. "If this is the Force being with you, you'd rather it wasn't?" he asked before taking a sip. "So, let's just...not. If you're going to change, there's probably nothing you can do to stop it. So, why don't we just hang out on the couch. I'll stay with you until Oliver gets here. And if you change, you change. If you want to try, cool. If you want to wait and see what happens, cool, too."
