There will be a few changes. The most immediate is that everyone will be off today. Sorry for the short notice. We will have training as usual on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Secondly, Colonel Callen will be be joining Mr. Reese as acting supervisory agents. Mr. Deeks is the only acting assistant direct and will remain so. For the next two days, Mr. Reese will be covering survival training, Mr. Deeks and Colonel Callen will be dealing with power training, range and self defense. Please address any and all concerns to the Colonel as per chain of command.
Thirdly, departure on Thursday will be at 0700. We will make arrangements for Mr. Marks to avoid the trip. Colonel, perhaps you can discuss with Mr. Deeks and Dr. Isle a solution that will keep him safe and limit traveling time.
Finally, I'm sure you are all aware about the shooting that took place on Sunday. Friendly fire hurt as much, if not more, than enemy fire, however we are doing our best to prevent any future recurrence. Steps are being taken, but I would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone that PTSD is a very real and pervasive problem, and too often it goes undetected in the type of life we lead. If you think you are suffering from it or if you think someone close to you is, talk to the Colonel or Mr. Deeks, or even myself. We will try to help as much as possible.
