"I'm happy for Sean's sake that he got his mother back. It must make it easier to deal with the loss of his sister."
Busy or not, April was still surprised when Savannah said she didn't know these people yet. Savannah was always the one to make knowing people a priority. "I'm glad you got another doctor here," she said. "That was one of the parts about leaving that I hated. I felt like I was abandoning all of you, even if the decision was right for us."
She smiled at the comment about too boring. "No, we wouldn't want that." She wondered how easily you could make a dinosaur who threatened your child implode.
"You do, I learned that about the same time that you did," she said with a smile. When Savannah answered, she didn't listen to the words, but to what wasn't being said. The twins had changed their form before they were even born, which told her that Jamie Ray was more likely to have his father's power than his mother's.
"Jamie Ray is a nice name," she said with a smile. "I can't wait to see him."
