Re: Robert/Thomas
Robert snorted. "Not eager at all," he said, picking up Jamie. He felt so small now that Liam was grown up, even if Robert knew that it had taken Liam months to get this big. Still, unlike Thomas, he could comfortably hold him with an arm, rocking him until the fussing ended.
"Rocking helps, and this is nothing," he said laughing. "Now, sleeping with two toddler every night is a much worse experience, I can assure you. They beat you up while you're sleeping."
Robert wasn't one for deep conversations or heart-to-heart moments. In fact, he despised the very idea, but Savannah was making some sort of statement with the name and invitation, and Robert knew that it'd be wise to at least try and be friendly. "How are you feeling? You know if you get tired and decide to leave early, no one can blame you. With Savannah, lunch tends to become dinner and dessert, and now that she's decided that you're family, you might want that out.. at least while you have the chance."
