"Because it's pie," she said laughing. "Pie is a great motivator." Savannah grinned. "Thanks. I try not to gain too much weight or eat unhealthy food. I'd say I don't want to eat too much, but with our training the calorie amount is insane, which is good so you can take some to Brian and some to Derek too. We can spoil him a little."
Savannah smiled. "He's a good man. You know I've like him even when people didn't get him. Are you guys doing better? We haven't talked, but you seem better. There is a lot more smiling on both sides."
She turned her hand and squeezed his hand. "That's exactly it and it does help to hear it from someone else. It's not going to stop me from asking for more driving lessons, but.... I know we tried. I didn't always understand him, but I tried. I don't want anyone dying like that, with few people caring. I don't want people dying in the first place, but you know what I mean. Those club nights helped. They got a lot of people to bond. We need to do something for all the new people. I'm not sure what, but we need to come up with something."
