"I'm not sure that's true, though. A hug doesn't fix the broken trust. We just like to think it does," he said. "Don't get me wrong, I think they are important, but not because they fix things, but because they keep a connection."
Dom looked at John with a puzzled look on his face. He could understand a kid being smart, but this was very different. Nothing lasts forever? That's pretty stoic for an eighteen year old, but I agree with the sentiment. We need to make a life here as long as we can't go home."
"I might be an agent, but this is my first love," he said nodding toward the book. "I look forward to see the different theories. I'll bring the games too and teach you how not to suck at them."
He nodded. "Some parts are more difficult than others, but as you said, we need to make the connections and that means dealing with those differences."
