"No, it's my job to keep you safe." He told her, and protecting her from the roaming minds of men was just one of the many ways Marty ought to be keeping her safe.
He gave her a gentle squeeze when she leaned against him again and sighed. "It's not about whether or not you're interested in any of them, some guys just can't help it - they see a beautiful girl showing off and they want a better look. Not all of them, but a lot of them." He told her. "I'll do what I can to avoid the punching so long as everyone keeps their hands eyes and comments to themselves." he told her. "And they're nice to you because they know you - because they've had that chance, some of them - don't know you as well yet." He shrugged, he didn't exactly think there was anyone around who was particularly interested in getting anything from Savannah, but he didn't doubt there were those who would mind a look if given the opportunity.
