"Oh," she said, not really sure what he was saying at the beginning, until she thought it over. "Oh... OH! Oh Lord, that's not-" She buried her face against him, because now she was seriously blushing, and she could feel it spreading it from her chest all the way up to her hair. She had no hope that someone hadn't noticed. Someone always did in this crowd, but at least they didn't know what had caused her reaction. "I hate you," she murmured against his neck. "You're the one who's evil."
She waved her hand to get some air as she pulled back again. "You haven't said anything now. I still can't believe you even thought that. Trailer trash isn't trendy, and I've got relatives who think it is. That's enough for me. I want a family, that doesn't mean that I want to become a redneck. And you're still evil."
