"Yes," Parker nodded eagerly. "Lots of things." Yes this was going very well indeed she thought. Having a conversation with a normal person and no one was upset or angry with her - at least not yet. It was enough that she could deem the conversation to be a success for the time being.
She tilted her head, not so much in question but more to try and understand what April meant, trying to suss out the meaning of her question without actually having to ask.
"Well you know, I mean you go there but it's not really home because home is like this whole other place now and so it's not actually home even if it looks familiar and you've been there a million times and you know all about how tall the buildings are supposed to be and you know how to account for the wind sheer off the side of the sky scrapers and just all of that. We're here and it's not home." She said the whole thing rather quickly and without pausing for a breath and shrugged when she finished. It was simple enough.
