Re: Savannah/Marty
Savannah chuckled, because it wasn't one of the many things they agreed on. She'd never really thought of herself as beautiful, but she was starting to believe it with as many times as Marty said it. "I really have to practice on the evil thing, so keep reminding me."
She wasn't so sure about the ten times. Marty was changing or maybe returning to normal. She didn't know, but gone were the hesitation and self doubts. He wasn't questioning his place on the team anymore. "You're still tense," she said, smiling. "And I found it amazing that so many people, so different from each other could coexist in such small place. It has to give you faith in the human race, despite the fact that something could have happened."
Cupping his face, she kissed him softly. "I love you too," she answered. People thought that men were the ones taking care of the women, especially when they were housewives, but they didn't understand that really it was the wives that took care of their husbands, dealing with everything other than a job outside the house. She planned to take care of him as much as she could, even if Marty still didn't understand that. "That's great, because I'm always happy to tell you what to do," she joked.
