Re: Savannah/Marty
Marty chuckled. "Well it's lucky for you that we happened to find one another so I could work on completing your education." He teased her with a grin. "Have I told you recently that you're evil?" He asked, "That's just not a nice thing to threaten at all." Still he was grinning and stole a quick kiss because he could.
He nodded though when she put her arm around him, pressing toward her fingers just slightly. "I know it's not." He assured her, he'd heard several times about just what Savannah had imagined herself doing with her life. She was good at this though, but he knew that wasn't necessarily something that made any of this easier to accept.
"Do I?" He asked, playing dumb. Savannah really could read him far too well. He ducked his head briefly and smiled a bit ruefully. "Yeah I know we did." That didn't mean he didn't wonder, it was a lot to give up, and a lot for anyone to deal with. He wouldn't have blamed her if it was too much. "We'll figure it out, when it happens." He wasn't in a hurry to give her up.
