"You said you were in love with him at first sight, but that doesn't mean it was the other way around, and I'd guessed that you'd been friends, too. If I was wrong," Oliver shrugged again. "I don't think we're the same. I was thinking in terms of friendship and communication."
Oliver shook his head. "I'm not interested in anything right now. Why is that so hard for people to grasp? Telling the truth made me out to be the bad guy and feel like crap for not instantly returning his feelings. Being a friend is damn well hard enough because I haven't thought of another person but myself in years. Being a partner is a thousand times easier because there's no emotions involved."
