Re: Travis/TJ
"You're worse than the average soccer mom on her kid's first day of school," TJ teased. Leaning over, he kissed Travis softly. "I'm a big boy and I can play nice with anyone I have to. I'll be fine."
Shifting position, he stayed close instead of sitting back up where he had been. This way he could use Travis' shoulder as a pillow while he flipped through interior decorating pages on his phone. The place they were living in now was tiny, but he could do something with it for the time they'd be there just like he'd tried to do in Pittsburgh. It was strange how much easier it was to breathe again now that they were basically back to where they'd been: TJ, Travis, and Doug. Sure, they had Maura with them now, too. But, that was good for Doug. Even if the marriage wasn't a love match, his brother smiled more when talking to Maura. And there were no more kids running about.
TJ had a bit of space and privacy again that improved his mood greatly.
"Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll let me work with Tommy or Maura," he added, chuckling. "It's probably asking too much that they'd put me with Doug."
