Casey wasn't as much of a fan of the death penalty as Weston seemed to be, but then your perspective changed when it was your mother in jail for murder. That wasn't something he was willing to share however, so instead he focused on the rest of what Weston was saying.
"Oh I have no problems seeing them in jail, in fact I'm happier if they're there than out of it. The comparison between a bullet and the fire is good though. I have no problem blaming the guy holding the gun or starting the fire, but I'm glad it's not my job catching him. Not that being a fire fighter can't get under your skin too." He was just glad he got to see the good in life too and not just the bad.
