Re: Savannah/Oliver
Savannah was a religious woman. She believed in the sanctity of a marriage between a man and a woman. She truly believed that it was a special union, but she had witnesses too many men fall in love with other men, creating relationships that might not be worthy in the eyes of the church, and yet, they were still special. Churches might say that they were sinning, but she'd seen the happiness in G and Sam's eyes when they were together, or the smiles that Sean and Troy had for each other. It might not be what the Church approved of, but she couldn't imagine that God hadn't intended that.
Secure in that knowledge, she did the only thing possible. She smacked his arm, changing her hand into metal so it could hurt more. The change was so quick that no one would even notice, but he'd feel it.
"Are you really this dense?" she said, before he could complain. "How many couples did you see at this table? And how many don't have women involved?" She sighed. "Oliver, baby, your version of the conversation makes no sense, but you seem sure that the problems started when you started to discuss a relationship that isn't supposed to be real, but in my experience, people only get upset when the relationship is real or when the feelings are there, because no one gets upset over something that's not real, but if they feel something..." She looked at him, hoping that he would finally get it, but also not expecting much. Men really needed things shoved up their faces.
"Do you have feeling for him? Does he have feelings for you? I think you need to start paying attention and figure things out, because that's your best friend there, and whether there are feelings of a more ... romantic nature, you don't want to lose the friendship," she said.
