Tommy closed his eyes as Oliver walked out. He hadn't planned on hurting his best friend. It wasn't what he wanted, but he just couldn't deal with Oliver right now. It was bad enough that every time they were close or talked about anything important, he started to question their relationship, but now he really wanted something to take the edge off, and dealing with Oliver's disappointed look was the last thing he needed.
Still, he knew that he'd hurt Oliver. He might not have said anything, but the signs were there. The way he straightened up just a little, and the tensing of the jaw. Little things that Oliver controlled better in public, but they weren't in public, but a restroom devoid of people. That brought up the next problem. How was he going to find something when he was in this bathroom? Would he make it downstairs without anyone noticing? These people paid way too much attention to everything.
He should go out for a smoke with TJ. It didn't even matter that he didn't smoke. TJ did and if there was someone who'd understand the need to use would be TJ. He stepped out and stopped when he saw Oliver. "What are you doing standing guard? It's just a damn restroom, Oliver."
