He always wondered how much of their actions were due to the fact that they had something to prove: Kensi because was a woman and him because of Sam. "And I think you'd have plenty of supporters, like everyone but the three living with him, but I'll go with what you want."
He chuckled. "That's good to know, because I was shocked to see the man I met here. He's a family man, that's just... she talks about family and children and he's just so different from the man I know."
Dom nodded. "I know how you feel, and no, it doesn't make you a girl. It makes you an agent who's been ripped out of her team and now has to start all over. So no, you don't sound like a girl. You're one of the least girly women, and I mean that in a very good way." He grinned. "Come on, partner, you don't want to start eating on their account. We'll just have to kick ass and make them regret that we aren't the ones covering their backs."
