Re: Deeks, Dom, Sean and Savannah
Marty nodded in response to Savannah's silent question. Sighing, he turned his focus to Dom. "Dom, I'm sorry, but even if we find a way into that dimension, which might be the same one that took the others, you won't find her there. There's no doubt about Reese saw. She's gone. I don't know why she didn't turn to water-"
"Because she's always wanted to be Dad," Sean interjected. "She's spent her whole life trying to life up to him and what she thought he wanted her to be, what she thought he was. And she's just like him. She would try to save Eric, she wouldn't leave him behind, which means she wouldn't turn into water to save herself because that's not what they do, no matter who's left at home," he added bitterly, anger keeping other emotions at bay to the accompaniment of sparks dancing along his fingertips until he clenched his fists at his side.
This was not going well and Marty looked helplessly at his wife because there really was nothing else he could say. There wasn't anything to say that would make this easier to take in. "For tonight, we're all bunking down here. Vance will make an announcement about plans. But, we can't stay on the island."
